SIT SC6C6TH Scotty's Non-Pedal / Lap Steel Semi-Flat, 6-string C6th

Gauges: .015 .018 .022P .024SL .030SL .036SL

Designed for less bar and finger noise, our semi-flat winding process produces a string with rich tone and vibrant sound, while keeping the tuning stability needed by all steel players.

"The C6th tuning was used by many famous players in the mid 1940's and 50's, but Steel Guitar Hall of Fame member Jerry Byrd did more to make this tuning famous than anyone." - Scotty

As an amateur I don't play often but when I do, these strings are always in tune. I would purchase again.

Usual stellar service from SBM

My first experience with Scotty's lap steel strings. A lot simpler than making up my own set, as I had been. Nice bright tone, but more string noise than the GHS Nickels.
