Martin MSP4150 Phosphor Bronze Acoustic Guitar Strings Lt Med 12.5-55

I have ordered strings from this company several times and they have always come very quickly and been exactly what I wanted.

Regarding the strings, they have become one of my favorites. I like to tune my acoustic guitar downa half-step so I can sing along to some of the songs that would otherwise be a little too high for me. These light / medium strings from Martin are perfect for that on my dreadnought.

I thought I would try these strings on a Gibson J-15. Since the J guitars are short scale, string tension would be only a little bit more than lights. The intermediate gauge of these strings allows for a bit more volume and a little more bass without the greater playing difficulty. The SPs provide a nice round sound. Martin is the only company I know of the makes a true Lt.-Med gauge string.

My actual set has a custom single G but I couldn't find it on your site. Would be good if you sold singles by the various manufacturers--in this case Martin.

I've been ordering my strings from Strings by Mail for years now and I'm still as happy with the service as I ever was. Whatever I need, they have it. If there is something I've heard about and want to try, they have it. Shipping is always the same no matter how much you buy..so stock up!

Great stings, great sound
