Perfect on my Jazz

These string replaced a set of 9050L’s I had on my Jazz Bass. The tension was a little low and the E was traveling a bit more than I liked. Put the 9050M’s on and now my Jazz plays beautifully. The slightly heavier gauge feels more compliant under my fingers but retains the smooth feel and ease of playing of the 9050L’s.
On a sidenote, this is actually the second set of 9050M’s I received from Strings by Mail. The first set had a manufacturing defect. I contacted SbM and Matt had a replacement set in the mail right away. I can’t say enough about their customer service!

Fender flatwounds

I have been using flatwound bass strings for almost all of my playing career. I have used just about all flatwounds available, have settled on the 55’s for now on. The guys at Strings by Mail have now become my go to people. The customer service is nothing short of awesome and turnaround time is like they are right next door. Great job folks!
