Elixir Purchase
Review by Peder D. on 18 Sep 2026 review stating Elixir Purchase Anyone that uses Elixir Acoustic strings knows that they are top quality (arguably the best) but expensive. That said they are absolutely worth the extra cost. What gets really annoying is when you break, say a G String. Try finding a place that sells individual strings. I'd either end up with mismatched sets or with partial elixir sets. Strings By Mail had the exact type of elixir strings - Nanoweb and Anti Rust Plated (phosphor bronze steel respectively) in the gauges needed AND sold individually. So, I could buy a couple of each of the thinner strings to keep in the case with a couple full sets and I know I'm covered. And I won't have to break into a brand-new set just to replace the B string that wouldn't bend a step and a half :)
I had a couple issues with delivery, but everything arrived ultimately, and they were very fast to respond when I let them know there was a problem.
