Solves high tension issue with heavier gauge flat wounds in standard tuning, g string can be hot on fender type bass,compression or pickup adjustment helps. Good overall

Great strings

these are perfect for a fretless bass that I made.

slender, great flatwounds

The super light strings are really for lighter bass neck. I use it on a '69 JBass. The super light flats give a beautiful
round and even sound and are authentic for the period.
