Bach | Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring for solo guitar

I like this arrangement. The key is different than other arrangements, including the famous Parkening/Foster/Niedt version. Some of the fingerings were a little difficult for me personally, but I found alternate fingerings that were easier and didn't seem to degrade the musicality significantly. However, the given fingerings make a useful study to improve technique.

Great to find Sophocles Papas arrangements. Arived in perfect condition, well packed in a zip locked bag inside a protective mailer.

Thank you very much for putting the sheet music in a box. It was also wrapped in plastic which was great. It was important to me that it was in perfect condition and it was.

This publication of Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring (from Cantata 147) is arranged by Sophocles Papas who was a student and life long friend of Andrés Segovia. Instead of this song being written in G major (like Christopher Parkening’s arrangement), it is written in A major. It is a really strong arrangement, and I recommend it to any serious classical guitarist.
