My favorite strings

I have used lots of different classical guitar strings and experimented with their sound, feel and durability. I don't have another years of exploring to discover the best and I am happy to settle with this set. One note is that 3rd gold wound string is brilliant but it takes time to get used to the sound. I still may want to go back to traditional nylon 3rd strings but it really changed the preconceptions of how the 3rd string should sound.

EXCELLENT STRINGS

The metal wound g-string makes all the difference.

Gold stings are not a gimmick

The gold stings really add a brightness that is not harsh. It seems to be between steel acoustic and classical as far as high freqs go. I like them a lot.

Beautiful Strings!

These strings look and sound beautiful!
I'm still not entirely sure they are worth more than twice the price of my regular strings, but I love the wound G!
