Q: I intend to order Aquila Carbonblack Ukulele strings to try, but before I do I would like to know if the lengths and diameters of the Soprano, Concert, and Tenor sets are all exactly the same, OR if the Soprano sets have smaller diameters than the the Concert sets and if the Concert strings have smaller diameters than the Tenor sets.
Since all the strings sets are the same price/set it seems to me the lengths rightly should be the same from set to set. Are they? I wish to know so that if Soprano set has smaller diameters than the sets for the larger instruments they could be used on the larger sets in order to have lower tensions. Normally Aquila ukulele strings tend to be high tension and most of my instruments are too lightly built for those tensions.
